Slugs & Double Streamers

These Slugs were tied for a show piece at the Swedish fly fair in Stockholm but were snapped up by a chap that had been following my other blog "Pike Fly Fishing Articles" for some time. He wrote back to me some weeks later to inform me that they managed to bag him his biggest Northern Pike ever. All were around 40cm long and Tied with Bucktail, Mirror Image, and cock hackles.

Double Raccoon Streamers

Marabou feathers and 15 mm strips of Raccoon zonker were used to construct these Double stinger streamers. They were the first fly I came up with after coming across Raccoon fur in Scandinavia.
